Rain, rain, rain!
I mean lots of it, too! So far 1.5 inches was in my rain gauge when I left a couple of hours ago. It was pouring then, too. The streets were getting flooded because the storm drain couldn't keep up with the volume of water coming down. I took a slightly alternate route to downtown because there was a pond at College and Fairfield.
Some folks will be flooded out because the rivers are swollen. I just benefit because the lawn will stay green for a while longer, and I won't have to water my plants. Maybe tomorrow, if I feel motivated, a garden update with pictures! Exciting!
Later:
Since the rain has been kind enough to cease for the moment, and the sun has made an appearance heating up the place and just filling the air with loads of humidity, I got ambitious I guess, and took some beautiful photographs of the plants and their developing fruits.
The cucumber is trying to suborn the tomato inch by inch.
The tomato stands tall and proud so far.

The peppers are keeping to themselves on the railing.

The basil looks good but I have been stealing leaves for my spaghetti sauce.

This is one cucumber/pickle developing.

That is about it for the garden update. I mixed up a batch of Miracle Grow yesterday, but I fear that the amount of rain we got overnight just diluted the hell out of it.
