Back in the Saddle (again)

A fun weekend was had by all. It started at 4:15 AM last Saturday. I was booked on a flight from Indy to Boston via Newark. No problems. The WX was excellent, clear and cool excellent for flying. My second cousin, Lydia (aka Squid) has been in Dover MA for the past five weeks or so working as an au pair for a super rich family. They have three little daughters and need the assistance of Squid for the three can be a handful.
Flew to NJ without problems. There were a million peeps at the Indy airport when I got there around 5:30 AM, my flight was at 7:00 so I left myself plenty of time. Most were going on various ATA holiday flights. It seemed like they were all dressed for some beach somewhere. My flight was pretty full, but it was a regional jet which only holds 50. On approach to EWR they vectored him practically straight from Williamsport PA to TEB, then one right turn and we were on final for 22L. It usually takes a lot longer and we have to visit Rockland county for a while before we get to TEB. I have never had such a direct flight to EWR! I got to hang around EWR for a couple of hours before the hop to BOS. Some sights lincluded the Wok and Roll, Nathan's famous ( I wasn't ready for a hot dog) and the Garden State Diner, where I had a chicken salad club. Yum!
