Going our ways

It was still raining on Tuesday morning, but it showed signs of clearing. We hung around after saying "good-bye" to Bruce and Angela, our hosts for the weekend. I had one more task to transfer some files from Angela's desktop to her new notebook. This got more problematic, as the flash ram kept crashing the desktop. I ended up going to compusa and buying a wireless router to do the job. All files transferred and she has wireless for her new notebook.
11:30 rolled around so Lydia and I went over to Bunty's to take her to lunch. Bunty was feeling much better after her transfusion kicked in. We had a nice lunch then bid her farewell until the next time. Back to the house for showers, packing and preparing for the return home.
The plan was to leave Saddle River at 3:00 and meet at my friend, Andy, whose house is in Short Hills, at about 4:00 and go to get an early dinner. That all changed a bit when Lyd accidentally locked the car keys in the trunk. No worries, she did it early enough so that roadside was able to cut us a new key and we were on our way by 3:50 or so. She kept the new key as a souvenir of the incident!
Down in Short Hills, we went to Dunkin Dough nuts with Andy and had a nice visit. Andy's house is about 15 mins from the airport so it is a great jumping-off point for the trip home. I always like to visit him just prior to my flight. I am glad Lydia got to meet Andy, we go back many decades.
Turning in the car was painless. Then we went to Lydia's terminal first. After she bought a little gift for Suzy, we got in line for a few minutes. This was rough for me. We said good-bye there and left her in line for check in for her flight back to London.
