I'VE BEEN ROBBED!

Something or someone has stolen the ripe peppers off the pepper plant! I have a curious squirrel that frequents the place it might have been him, but there are other critters (human and otherwise) about.

I live amonst the robber barons, the wily rats in furry clothing known as squirrels. My first vote is that you have a neighbor who likes stuffed peppers. Yet, those rats have been known to eat vegetables. Never tomatoes. Makes their faces break out and gives them canker sores. Signed, unsure in Assonet, MA

I noticed that the tomatoes went unmolested, although they are not quite ripe yet. I already picked the cucumbers (ha!) because they were ready.
