Quick Response
The Viewsonic folks sent me an e-mail asking for details about my monitor to verify warranty information. I sent it and there was a response within five minutes! The response included an RMA number and address to send the unit for repair or replacement. The service center is in Kentucky, the next state over. They promised action within 7-14 business days which is reasonable. I found the original box (not necessary) which is convenient because I kept the molded Styrofoam bits which hold the monitor within the box. I have always had a high regard for Viewsonic products so we shall see if they pass this test. So far, so good!
