Last day of July
And there is a full moon. Don't get me started on the moon thing. Suffice it to say, the nuts will be a' howlin' tonight here in beautiful, downtown Broad Ripple. I can't get to sleep so here I sit. I fell asleep on the couch around 8:00 pm and it destroyed my sleep cycle for tonight. Although, I usually don't have trouble getting to sleep even if I've napped during the day, I just have to do it during the daytime, not in the evening.
It was raining out before and you'd think that would lull you to sleep. It was a nice sound, but it has stopped now and the radar looks like it is going to be clear for the rest of the night.
If i am still awake in an hour or two, I might give my English cousin a call. It is morning there and she'll be awake. I might just "text" her first to make sure. I suppose I could go downstairs and rummage around for a snack. The fear there is I might start cooking something and that will get too complicated. I think I have a mini-quiche in the freezer somewhere. Hmmm.
