Home again, home again, jiggedy-jig
My what a busy little September day this has been. Normally I see two clients a day, sometimes only one "regular" one I have a contract with, and sometimes three. Today - six! Not that I mind, actually, more money for the kid. Each job was only a half-hour or so, but it all adds up.
I called Ashley to wish him warmest regards, but I think he views birthdays much the same as I do - as non-days. My last celebratory birthday was my fortieth. Pretty much after that I try to ignore them. Since it is on New Year's Eve, it pretty much gets overshadowed by other hoopla anyway.
I have a new predator in my garden. I found this out there this morning. Maybe the squirrel was trying one for taste, but according to Joy, squirrels don't like tomatoes, so I am a little baffled.
