Waiting for Amazon (again)

But this time I wasn't such a tightwad and sprung for the $3.99 extra shipping charge, so they shipped the book the very NEXT DAY after I ordered it. If it wasn't for Labor Day, I would have had it on Monday.

Basically, we live in a class society. You gotta pay extra to get the status quo nowadays. If you don't believe me, order from Amazon and select the free shipping option and see how bloody long you have to wait before they make a move. Or better yet, try and "cash in" some frequent flier miles - they have more restrictions and fine print that makes it just about impossible to get anything you want. Bastards!
