A foggy day

Air temp 49, ground temp 59 = FOG. I can't see 150 feet across the courtyard, but I expect it will burn off in a few hours as soon as the air heats up a bit. I have another busy day in store, but not too bad, really. Katie never showed up for the pitch-in lunch yesterday. Too bad, to, it was one of the better ones - lots of food with an emphasis on deserts! Got to see some former employees who have moved on, but returned for the feast.

I notice a lot of squirrel activity lately, so I guess this means Winter is actually coming. You can't miss the rapidly shortening day-length, We are losing about two minutes a day now. How I hate getting up in the dark!

At least your squirrels are still alive... =) Apparently these squirrels wanted to go skinny-dipping and forgot that they don't know how to swim. http://www.mlive.com/news/muchronicle/index.ssf?/base/news-3/1096472877254800.xml

Don't remiind me about the rapidly shortening days. Wasn't it just yesterday where'd it'd be light way past 8:30?
