Bonding with Lindsey

My grandniece is five. She is very good at Rally-X and Pac Man. She has a book her kindergarten class is writing! Each of them gets to take it home in turns. Pretty good for five year-olds. When I was in kindergarten we ate milk and cookies and took naps!

Aren't the snacks and naps the whole point of kindergarten? There's plenty of time for actual work later, if you ask me... They should relax and do nothing but play while they still can.

Snacks and naps! Set a pattern in me I hold dear to this very day!

I was recently told of a little 3 or 4 year old girl who was writing up her Christmas Wishlist on her Dad's laptop with Word. And she knew how to change the font/sizes/colors & everything!

Yah, and I'll bet the only thing Dad knew how to do was plug it in!
