Meme from Anna Banana
Instructions:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
Be afraid, very afraid...
Gently smooth the surface, easing out the air bubbles, and press around the edges to seal in the filling. If you have rolled even, round beads, they will not need trimming, but if there is too much overlap on top or bottom, simply cut off the excess with a sharp knife. As you assemble the breads, put them on wax-paper-lined cookie sheets without letting them touch, or they will be impossible to separate.
It is a recipe for Aloo Paratha, and Indian fried bread. Yum! (Meeta)

I'll bet your mom's is best. I got mine out of "The Art of Indian Vegetarian Cooking" by Yamuna Devi (1987 Bala Books, ISBN: 0-525-24564-2)Posted by: Nez at March 5, 2005 08:26 AM
