Dennis the menace
What's left of Dennis is advancing rapidly into Indiana. The original track predicted he would arrive between Tuesday and Wednesday, but I think it will start raining tonight. In our case it is a good thing because we are so dry and still under uninforced water restrictions. There is already a high cloud cover all over the state and the wind has picked up out of the East at a steady 15 kts.

They were saying for a while that Dennis might head west enough that we would catch some of the rain. No such luck. We NEED a good dousing. So if you end up with some spare, send it to Dallas, all right?Posted by: TheBB73 at July 11, 2005 03:10 PM
Don't hold your breath! Dennis is barreling northward to Indiana to relieve our drought. http://www.intellicast.com/Local/USLocalWide.asp?loc=kind&seg=LocalWeather&prodgrp=RadarImagery&product=Radar&prodnav=nonePosted by: Nez

"Phew" is right. It's the tornados we worry about here in Indiana. Hurricanes pretty much lose their punch this far away from the ocean.Posted by: Nez at July 13, 2005 01:46 PM
