felis catus update

She had a very slow day yesterday. She did not move from the same spot for six hours. I took her some food and water and, to my relief, she ate! Then resumed her sleep through the night until she woke me up around 4:30 AM wanting to go out (to pee I guess), so I let her. I let her back in around 8:30 AM and she went straight for the food bowl and had a healthy nosh. I guess she had the kitty 24-hour bug.

I'm so glad she's feeling better! Having an ill pet is so upsetting. My basset has been acting so old lately, it's really sad. He's only 9, but the typical lifespan for a basset is about 11 years.
