Do you feel honored, Nez?

Honored, blessed, and otherwise singled-out. They do this to me like clockwork every other year. That's what you get for voting Dem in this state.

Heh fun. I've yet to be called for jury duty. Ever. Of course, now I've probably just jinxed myself.

Hey Nez -- an old friend & neighbor here, dropping by... I now live in a very, very Red state. I was called for jury duty for the first time in my life last year... ON ELECTION DAY. There seemed to be an unusually large jury pool that day; the jury room was overflowing. We all chatted amongst ourselves to ease the stultifying tedium, and after a while we realized that almost all of us were Dems, and all were concerned that we wouldn't be able to get out and vote... and the more we talked the more convinced we became that we were not all there simply by coincidence :-/ And no, courts are not closed in this fair Commonwealth on Election Day.

They call me every other year. I voted absentee last November, a lot of good that did! (did you see my new kittay?)

That's one crazy cat, Nez -- I see strays still have a way of taking you in :-b Of course, there's no replacing the original Nezbit. Say, I'm thinking of starting a family blog so I don't have to get yelled at for failing to distribute news/pics in a timely manner... I'll send you the url if I ever actually do. Gotta get some non-granny traffic in there... though I don't know why any non-grannies would even be interested!

Sure! I will add it to my blogroll.

Wow. They really heap on the patriotic pathos to guilt you into "serving your county" don't they? Interesting that they violate the "Flag Code" by putting the flag on a disposable item (like an envelope) here...

It is a "red" state out here for sure.

It's weird, I turned 18 almost 2 years now and I've never been called for jury duty.

I mean I turned 18 almost 2 years AGO. Hehe.
