Trees, glorious trees
Kew gardens is amazing. The area is occupies is so large you just can't see it all in one go. In addition, there was a special Dale Chihuly glass works exhibition going on adding to the beauty.
But I was there to see the trees and plant collections in historic greenhouses. And inside those greenhouses you get to see plants and flowers close up. Neat.

Richard, Apologies for not getting back to you earlier. I'm off to two mtgs this a.m., but wanted to let you know Kate says meow! She has a limp that I have been watching for ~3 days. Today she is actually holding up her paw and it seems a bit swollen. There is a small scatch on her leg, so I am thinking it is slightly infected. Her appetite was fine last evening, although she didn's seem hungry this a.m. and hobbled outside. I'll check on her at lunch. It is warm, but damp today. Do you want me to take her to the vet today or just watch closely for another day? She was in the basement when I arrived (which is normal) and hobbled up the stairs meowing (normal), but seems a bit more uncomfortable this a.m. compared to yesterday. Take care...PS She lost her pink studded collar, but now has a bright blue one. Sue OPosted by: Sue Odom at November 1, 2005 09:46 AM
