A proper tourist
Today was the day I did some touristy things in Central London. I started out by taking the train to the site of the London Eye, kind of a ferris wheel thingy run by British Airways. I took a look at the hyooge crowd of people wanting to get on this thing and kept on walking. Kind of a rip off anyway. What the price list doesn't show is the "FAST TRACK" price of double! You can tell it is run by an airline.
Next I went to a fabulous concert at Saint Martin in the Fields, a well known elite music venue. We heard the Mozart Flute Quartet in D, and a contemporary quartet by Nicholas Maw.
And, of course, the day would not be complete without a classic post card picture.
