Back to reality
I got to Heathrow Terminal Three and hung around for about an hour or so. I like to give international flights the benefit of plenty of time so I get there early in case there is a screw up. Besides, they have festooned the place with every kind of shop imaginable hoping to lay claim to the last of your GB Pounds.
My ride was stocked with food and bevvies, but since I was in row 43, they ran out of beef and I had to settle for chicken. I got to Chicago (ORD) twenty minutes late and missed my connection to Indy (IND) which I kind-of expected because it was so tight to begin with. I made myself at home for three + hours by first having a real Chicago style cheesesteak sandwich, yum! It wasn't around long enough for me to take tis picture. On the way to the gate I spotted this pic of my future cousin Jasper after he makes it big in acting circles.
I know it's only 3,946 miles according to the airshow, but I am sure I also lost a day or two somewhere.
