jozjozjoz - I finally got your card.
Silly postal buggers! The original (which is lovely, by the way) card, which Joz correctly addressed was mis-routed to the Nora Branch post office here in Greater Indianapolis. My address is in the Broad Ripple branch post office, also here in Indianapolis. Google reports the distance between the offices is about 3½ miles.
Your tax dollars paid for a 2,130 mile trip all the way back to Joz's address in Los Angeles, instead of the 3½ mile trip down Westfield Blvd - not to mention that the card was postmarked December 9, and here it is January 3! Also, not to mention, that Joz had to cough up another 37¢ to re-mail the original card to the same bloody address!
Joz, thank you for your card. I am not surprised that with your persistant (and refreshing) attention to detail, you often require and additional day or two to be added to your weekend.
