Remember when . . .

If you read this... if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often or don't really know each other)..... Your job, your mission, nay - even your new goal in life is to post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad. It can be about that time when I spent the night with you in the South American jail because you got drunk and tried to pick up on a cop.... or it could be about that night that felt liktime half a forever ago when you and I hopped on railroad cars and rode clear across Kentucky... BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you!

Remember when we decided to go on safari in Africa? I got so scared when you ran out and danced around naked in front of the elephants until they got so mad that they stampeded! Good thing that crazy Aussie Crocodile Hunter guy was on the same trip as we were. He did his crazy animal hypnotism thing with those elephants and they turned around! Damn you for nearly giving me a heart attack!

You and I met at Squaw Valley back in 2002. I was trying to pick up this chick, and you plowed right into me and broke my wrist. I know I wasn't too happy at the time, but you made up for it by introducing me to your cousin. You made that funny speech at the wedding reception about how this all came to be after a few glasses of champagne, but I do believe in fate. I just wanted you to know that we're having a baby girl, and plan on naming her "Nez."
