Getting ready for some harvesting
The pepper plant is the first. I may just do some pasta with Itailian sausage and pepper for tonight's supper, using this prime example of course - getting the best of it before the squirrel does.
Even with all the beetle damage, my basil is abundant. I am glad they have taken a liking to the geranium. The bug bag has helped as well.
I am looking forward to having a few of my own tomatoes in a few weeks. Chopping a wayward branch off the plant seems to have allowed it to channel its energy back into the remaining fruit.

How holistic....a garden....here in Mont-clair, I must go to others' gardens...Van Vleck Gardens, 68 acres of meditative beauty uncluttered by very important Montclarians (I am not a VIP Montclarian....)Posted by: Deborah at July 11, 2006 08:08 PM
I grow things in pots on my deck, as opposed to growing pot in things.Posted by: Nez
