We lurve Ikea!

On the spur of the moment Saturday afternoon, Katie and I gassed up the car and took off for Chicago, well Bolingbrook Illinois, with the goal of going to Ikea. If you have never been to Ikea, go. In my case it was worth the three-plus-hour drive each way. We went nuts and had to fold down the back seat of the Passat to cart home our spoils. Katie bought a bed and a bedside table, and I bought a small coffee table.

how funny. That's where I'm headed tonight, not Chicago but IKEA. One opened in the town over. 20 minutes isn't a bad drive ;)

20 minutes, you lucky duck. I asked if they were thinking about opening one in Indianapolis and they said "no" possibly Cincinnati. Bleh! What does Cincinnati have that Indy doesn't?

R - Is this the famed coffee table you've been looking at for awhile? I remember when you were here, we were trying to figure out if it was worth it to ship it from NJ!!

Very, very similar. Every time I was in NJ I would query their inventory to see if Paramus or Elizabeth had one and came up naught. I was going to bring the thing back with me on the plane!
