Polesden Lacey

Oh boy. Sunday, in the pouring rain, we set out to see a national trust site in the south of England somewhere. What a great kerfuffle! Ashley got on the motorway instead of getting off. We were about 40 miles out of our way, hungry, wet and having to pee.
We decided to change out destination instead and went to stately home called Polesden Lacey. In all fairness, PL is a beautiful place - even in the pouring rain, but what a rip off! It cost £6 a head to pass through the gate. Then we went for something to eat. The sandwiches (which were nothing to write home about) and tea all round came to a total of £24! We left a bit of a mess once we had lunch.

did Mrs. Bucket once go there with Richard and then Onslo and crew show up. Or am I getting my mansions mixed up.

Movie Star boots for a gal that looks like a star. Good for her. Do they make UGG rubbers for men. Then you can look like a movie star, too.

Our Lydia is right chuffed with those boots.

Baps! A tuna and cucumber bap. Funny, not haha, nor queer, but more of the aww reminiscent sort.

You are coming over in December, right? Get ready for bad food and high prices, but the weather is warm.
