12 hours later

The storm that blew through last night left a lasting impression on Broad Ripple. There were 75 mph winds that hit light a freight train; one minute calm, the next minute fury. There was constant lightening and thunder. It hit at about 10:00 pm and lasted about an hour - that was round one. Round two began at about 11:30 and hit with about the same fury, except this time the electricity quit. An old analog alarm clock read 11:43 for the next twelve hours until the electricity came back at 12:02 today.

Now I am running around resetting things - VCR's, answering machine, light timer. Pictures in the extended entry.

This house had an unwelcome caller in the night.

Kittay maintains a relaxed attitude in the storm's aftermath.
