In the dark again
My power was off for five hours last night. Aside from my ice cream being a bit soft, everything was ok. My dodgy TiVo is not going to stand for much more abuse I am afraid.
Fortunately I cook with gas and I have a gas grill for outside, so I made myself some BBQ chicken for supper. The storm came in waves, so between them, I was able to sit outside and enjoy the silence - except for nighthawks and other active birds. It was kind of pleasant, actually.
