Took a wee break
I have been low with the virus which has been going around. I wasn't really feeling 100% last Friday, and it went downhill from there till about two days ago. I know I am sick when I couldn't care less about whether I eat or not.

Kittay is out for the day
I was tempted to follow her to see where she goes, but I am feeling a bit stuffed-up and spaced out so I am going to stay inside. Kittay has other friends who live close by, and sometimes she comes home a bit worse for wear if there is a difference of opinion over who owns the back deck (and underneath).
I checked the forecast and there is some precip expected this afternoon. She might be joining me in front of the TV after all.

Aren't we special
George W. Bush is due to arrive in Indianapolis today. They are being very secretive about the time, etc. But I am sure it will totally screw up my usual drive downtown because I go right past where he is supposed to be holding his big fund raiser. I wouldn't mind getting a glimpse of AF1 since the approach to RWY 23R is almost over my house @ about 3000' MSL. I will keep my camera close, but the IMC will probably block the view. It might even snow again.
UPDATE: No roadblocks in place yet. I made it downtown just like usual, except I did see one lone guy carrying a big sign which said "BUSH LIES"

Haircut today
I hate to get my hair cut. The reason is that I have to sit there and look at myself in that mirror. I take an inventory and notice:
1. How much fatter I look since the last time.
2. How much more my hair has thinned since the last time.
3. How much greyer/whiter the remaining hair has gotten.
Depressing.

The Snow Report
Well, all we got here in Broad Ripple (Indianapolis) was about 2½ inches by the time it quit. In fact, it didn't even start until 6:01 this morning. So much for ten inches, bloody weather-buggers! One guy showed a radar pic with a donut-hole over Indianapolis saying it was a "miracle" that it wasn't snowing in Indy. I think there is a more scientific explanation.

Full Moon!
I have already seen two accidents this morning when it wasn't very busy at 11:00 o'clock. The cat couldn't decide if she want to be inside or out, normally she goes out. I put her out. Let the barking commence!

Almost need the A/C
It thundered all night, and now the sun is trying to burn throught the haze. The humidity is still way high and the temp is 70°F (21°C).
Someone else is enjoying the wet, warm Spring day. Look who's been rolling in the dirt! She can think again about coming inside with wet and muddy paws! Of course, she's not interested one bit while it is sooo nice outside. We even have flowers popping up next door!

Gloomy
It is foggy and gloomy out this morning. Fitting for a Monday, don't you think? Kittay is bugging me to go out, which is good because rain or shine, she goes outside during the day like it or not.

Saturday!
No real plans for today. The WX is cool but nice. The TV says that tomorrow is supposed to be crap so if you want to go play outside, today is the day. I've already been to McDonald's for a breakfast sandwich, and the Monon for a large cup of choo-choo brew so I am set.
