Fish story
Katie decided to bring her girls home from the office this weekend. She has to keep them in separate tanks so they won't get into a fight. They are territorial.

Thanksgiving
Off to Minnesota this morning for the Thanksgiving Dinner with the family. The airline tried to scare me by not assigning me a seat, but they came through with one yesterday when I checked in over the internet, so I feel like I am on my way. Bad WX was the rule a couple of years ago when I went through Chicago, but today's forecast is for CAVU.

I went to my PO box and there it was . . . a post card from Orlando Florida sent by Joz. Thank you Joz!

Christmas came early
I got myself a new toy. The optics aren't as good as my Fuji (the camera that took the pic), but is it very portable and capable for the money. Just in time for all the holiday picture taking and traveling.
Edit:
I can't believe this camera has a mode called "cuisine" which it says is for still life photography. Vividly reproduces colors of fruit, vegetables, flowers, etc.
I wonder if it's a vegetarian?

DIY
My cousin can do anything around the house. Every year he takes on a big DIY project which involves something on the scale of a "This Old House" production. While I was in London, he decided to rebuild the wonky gatepost. He did a professional job guarenteed to last for years!

Ms Loxton's class
My cousin Lydia has taken her first official job since graduating from Roehampton University earlier this year. She is a primary school teacher currently teaching the nursery school class in the borough of Ealing. I went to visit her in her class last Thursday. Makes me wish I was back in school again. She is strict, but quite a lovely teacher. Her pupils will never forget their first school experience thanks to Ms. Loxton.

Full moon tonight!
Beware! Crazy buggers lurk everywhere, and some of them have weapons.

Central London
I have been in Greater London for almost two weeks (a fortnight) and I finally went into central London. My cousin, Jasper and I boarded the train to Waterloo . Then caught a number 139 bus to Oxford Street. We spent the entire day walking the length of Oxford Street going in and out of shops until I was ready to drop. Oh to be nineteen again.
